In the visitor center is a full size replica of a home like the Mitchell Prehistoric Native Americans would have lived in.  How was this done? 

By looking at the holes in the ground and looking at small fragments of evidence, the archeologists have created this home. 

Since there are no pictures, they must to some extent use their imaginations and look at other homes that are similar to those that exist here like those of the Mandan Indian.
