Archeologists and Their Tools
Archeologists search for clues about ancient
people. As in the case of this village, many times they have little to go on.
As they find artifacts, they try to understand what this means about this people. They
make educated guesses such as that they were a peaceful farming people. They
carefully record and log where each artifact is found.
Later information about what they have found may change what they think happened here and
they can go back to see what was found and where.
Without the archeodome, there would have to be great care taken to protect everything from
the wind, rain, and snow.
